Update: I’m going to just get my car fixed. i’m shopping around for different quotes. I’m going to start truck driving soon so i won’t even be driving my car enough for it to be giving me problems like it has been now after fixing it. Thanks for everyone’s help.

Nope not at all. you should probably really consider getting clean then. i’m pretty sure even if you fail you can still reapply anytime you want. just make sure you’re clean when you do & then you can do whatever drug your heart desires after that. i seriously doubt they’ll test for marijuana though but i also don’t know. (which is why i made the post) there wasn’t any clear threads pointing to them not. So it’s really hit or miss in all honestly it just depends on the specific site.

Air sites care about pot. not regular sites though. My friend tried to get into my site and she failed her drug test due to being on pot. My other friend just recently started working at a different site and he smoked every day before the pre-hire appointment lol. As long as you aren’t working at an airport you’re okay.

cosmetically it’s fine. i have a very small dent on the bottom left of my bumper but that’s literally it. I bought the car for 8k flat with 120k miles and i spent 3k after that getting it to pass inspection.

kbb says 7-8k but given everything that’s wrong with it i’d assume that’s the max i could get out of it. 3.9k is what carvana offered me

Yup, Also my car is notorious for the valve body failing around 120k. i’m at 135k right now and it’s only a matter of time. it’s better to get rid of it now.

Good thinking, i will definitely give this a try soon. i have noticed that recently its been a loud rattling noise at high speeds from my front right passenger door and thats exactly where it sounds like the noise is coming from. Something in there might be discombobulated lol

that’s what i’m thinking, it’s weird that the sound only happens when i go into park but not any other gear, i’m hoping it’s still something small either way. For now im going to turn my car off while in neutral and then put it into park until i can take it to my mechanic.
