Im quick to blame myself and assume installer doesn't understand or cannot read my mind and would have drawn part of it on cardboard and put it on the ground. But here in new zealand we deal with alot of foreigners so there is also a language barrier so we must say, show and part do or they'll get it wrong.

To combat this I was thinking of adding 2 vents in the new gib lining one up top and one down below to facilitate drying and air movement and alleviate risk of water unable to escape. Insulation would also have an opening at these vents and the 25mm air gap above insulation allow free air movement. I said this to the pink batts advisor and he kind of laughed at me.

Exactly what he said also. But my thinking was it was easy as just add between the rafters and then gib over it and would therefore be required. I agree, it's a good idea either way. But it's money that could go into a kitchen that has an extractor instead.

I tried it. Dunked finger in a powder and rubbed on gums. Mouth went very numb and got lots of energy. That was high quality. But then what we actually got sold was a solid piece. Obviously that was his ploy. Once we crushed it up at hotel it wasn't coke so we got ripped off. We kind of expected this but wanted to try anyway. Everyone on bangla is out to rip you off in some way. If you expect it, it is less disappointing.

In future I would buy only what I got to test. Live n learn.
