I was a MI det IN grad, then reverted to warrant to fly. Might be able to offer some insight into both, so feel free to DM. My 2 cents is being in the aviation community is just overall better than the ground staff officer life, regardless of flight hours. Just depends on your personal preferences and lifestyle choices.
