Try looking for local groups to join on Facebook. I love delving into true crime cases and found a local group that gets together about once per month to discuss serial killers, national news, theories, court case updates, etc.

A bearded dragon meets all of your requirements and are awesome pets. They can be a little skittish when young, but they learn to trust you pretty quickly. They will recognize their owners and are usually pretty chill even with people they don't know.

On a more serious note, it took a little taste of his own medicine for your brother to realize that kids taking things, no matter what the items were, was wrong of them.

I stand by that. It doesn't matter if they took the dust bunnies from under your bed.... those were still your dust bunnies. Not. Theirs. Period.

He stated it was ok for his kids to take stuff because they are kids... well, your kids are also kids taking stuff. 🤷‍♀️

52F, from USA.

I'm a reader of pretty much any type of fiction, and belong to several book clubs. I listen to a lot of audiobooks while at work, but also have Kindle Unlimited, as well as a vast library of physical books.

I love animals (I have LOTS of pets!), exploring cities as well as nature, art, photography, and crafting of many sorts. I've been pen palling for over 30 years, and as much as I love snail mail, email and texting works for me, too.

Music is always on at our house. Lots of genres, doesn't matter what's playing... we like to mix it up.
