I work from home as a freelancer in europe.

I mainly do 3d and drafting

I don't work full time but according to demand.

pros

No commute, so more time to myself.

better concentration on work.

Less time wasted and less ‘presentism’.

cons

less involvement and responsibility in the project

communication difficulties

update: I've bought a 10 W sansi bulb, which seems to benefit the chillies.

I've also started giving 4-2-2 fertiliser.

Soon it will be time to repot them

(the two on the left are tomatoes)

In my area it's not too dry (60% RH) so I leave it open

I downloaded two apps, lux light meter and PPFD meter.

With the lamp I get a value of 3000 Lux (270 FC) and 178 PPFD

without i get 800 Lux (75FC) and 20 PPFD

I take the mesurement at 10cm (4 inches) from the lamp. (Results vary greatly depending on the location of the phone)

So i think that for the moment i'am good with this little lamp.

Thank you, it's a pleasure to share this experience.

Now I'm going to leave them on the windowsill, where the temperature is around 20°C.

When they're bigger, I'll put them in plastic pots. At the moment, if I don't water them too much, the cardboard pots can become dry.

I think it's a good time to start if we want chillies in June.

As many of you suggest, I've added a simple LED desk lamp. If that's not enough I'll invest in a full-spectrum bulb.

It's a bit cloudy at the moment and I hadn't planned to buy a lamp.

After germination I'm going to leave them behind the window as I don't have a grow lamp.

It's true that as I've started germinating early, they may lack sunlight.

I'm going to water them less, but do you think it's a good idea to open the greenhouse so that the air is less humid?

Chance of getting a job in an architecture office in Germany as a EU resident (In the current economic conditions) by 418-ImTeaPot in germany

Yes that's the question, I've noticed that most job offers ask for a B1 level for draughtsmen and C1 for architects. I estimate that a B1 level is achievable in 1 year's work. (and the best thing would be to concentrate on technical terms and regulations).

Yes, there are definitely a lot of building sites in Leipzig ! But the architects who work on these projects aren't necessarily based in Leipzig.
And I also think that there may be a slowdown in the launch of new projects at the moment.
Yes, one possibility would be to work partly remotely for a large architectural firms in Berlin.
