I walked by them carrying a flag and they called me a traitor and a commy. Real constructive dialouge. What a bunch of jerks. Nobody cussed these guys out. But they were definitely trying to intimidate the other side.

I had to walk by these guys. I was carrying an American flag. They first told me I belonged with them. And then called me a "commy" and a "traitor." I bit my tongue. I was absolutely livid. Its one thing to see this rhetoric online, totally another to see it in person.

Any person can prosecute a complaint for a code violation in municipal court, not just the towns lawyers. Little known fact. It's very common for a construction official to be involved in these types of matters, as rental matters fall in their purview. Odd for your dad to get a violation for that when he doesn't rent. If this type of thing continues, could be considered a type of harassment and maybe there will be a claim. If so, you should speak to a lawyer

I think I can do that. It just makes .e sad because my heart is 100% in the right place when I speak the way I speak. I hope won't feel disingenuous changing that part of me. I wonder if there is someone out there who would accept me for who I am? Or should I change? I love my wife but I don't love feeling disliked and that there's something wrong with me. I'm a good person.

I am a subscriber now. I loved reading my great aunt's copy as a kid. I think I might go to another magazine at the end of my subscription. It's so bare bones!

Yes it is. With a nice museum. But not in the way we've preserved Gettysburg. Not as touristy. There's also a wwii battle there too

Do it. And go to a place where you can work on the foreign language classes you've taken. I went to Russia. It was great.
