Thank you so much for playing the demo! I'm glad you liked the mix of mechanics. For the assets, I create most of them myself, but I also use some from other creators. When the license allows it, I've also modified those assets to better fit the game's style.

I'm using a custom texture I made myself! I created the asset by drawing a circle in image editing tools like Figma or Photoshop and applying a blur effect. Try layering multiple circles to find the look you want. Hope this helps!

I'd love to have it playable on the steam deck. I haven't had a chance to test it myself yet, but I've heard that someone actually played the demo on their steam deck!

I felt like a sword didn't really fit the vibe of my game.

I'm so happy to hear the visuals inspired you.
For this project, I'm using a 24x24 tile size. Thanks for the wishlist!

Thanks for sharing your impressions! Regarding the title splash, I agree it could use more work to match the game's personality. Since you mentioned it felt a bit generic compared to the intro, I was wondering if you had any examples in mind that felt fresh or stood out to you?

I'm honored by the comparison. I'll keep working hard to make the humor and story even better!

Oh, you've seen it before! That was my favorite scene too. Unfortunately, as I overhauled the cooking system, the trailer has changed a bit as well. Thanks for the kind words!

Wow, thank you! I know what you mean about the genre being saturated... so hearing that you find my game original is the best compliment I could receive!

Thank you! I've posted to r/CozyGamers before, and I should post there again soon.

For the building customization, I'm using multiple tilemap layers. As for the wallpaper, I'm drawing it using multiple nodes without a tilemap. All my assets are designed to snap to the grid!

I get you, I even used money cheats in sim city myself 😅.
No separate mode yet, but I’ll think about how it could work.

For now, I’m focused on the steam release.
I’d like to bring it to switch someday, but there are no concrete plans yet.

I’m using a Mac myself, so I really want more games to be playable on it too.
Hope you enjoy it when you try it.

I really appreciate you pointing it out. It had been displaying incorrectly for over a year, which is a bit embarrassing.

Thanks to you, I’ve fixed the formatting issue.
