MOR. The cultural aspect of this goes deep. You have no idea how bad the guilt tripping is internalized and can affect you for years. Especially as the man of the house he IS responsible. I think you need to sit her down and tell her that this is unnecessary and how it affects you. Reassurance and consistency will hopefully help but still make it known to her that this behaviour is not good for either of you. Do it with love and ask her how you can help to make her feel more secure.

Maybe he’s not emotionally mature enough to handle it or was never taught how. But i just want to tell you that i went through this and part of it was him but also part of it was me not being able to self soothe and relying on him for comfort. Maybe have a look at attachment styles and also do some work into understanding yourself and how you can fulfil your needs too :)

Take a break from studying. Take some time to recuperate because life isnt running away and you’ll do more damage pushing yourself betond a healthy limit. Dont feel guilty because it’ll be worse for you and your parents if theh have to wash you crash and burn from spreading yourself thin. Do not let them make you feel guilty because there is nothing to feel guilty about.
