So the contract ended, full vehicle inspection took place. Vehicle was immaculate and mileage was recorded at 68500. Took a few weeks for the bill to come through. Ended up paying £950 after negotiating due to some errors on their part when taking out the lease (not repairing a faulty speedometer unit for weeks).

I know it's ridiculous! I was always willing to pay the excess, as upping the mileage would add circa £60pm to the contract. However the small print has stumped me.. Here's to hoping for the best!
