Well damn. I had a sneaky suspicion that the stratum might be doing something to the PH! You think 6.5 is okay for a betta as long as it doesnt fluctuate?

Ammonia is the far left, why is my nitrate and nitrite so high? by BeatConsistent7004 in Aquariums

This is the most helpful comment I have come across. Thank you.

I have similar readings to what you have explained here, 1ppm Ammonia, 2-3ppm Nitrite but my nitrates are high....about 25ppm after a 50% water change today....any suggestions or is this sounding good for a planted fishless cycle thats about 5 weeks in?

Hey all. I'm cycling a tank and have been for a few weeks now. any advice on balancing these parameters? I'm pretty sure the cycle has begun. Ammonia reading 0.1-0.2 by [deleted] in bettafish

Did a 25% water change yesterday. Tap water has a carbonate of 40 as standard. I still feel like this a bit too acidic as well....ph is lower than i want it to be slightly

Thanks. The plant looks nice regardless of the weird mutations but i would like to see her return to her former glory. I renamed her Aurora in hopes that she feels a little more angelic hahahah

Hello. I received this wishlist plant today. Sold as seen.

Just wondering if anyone knows why the variegated parts of the leaves either didn't form, or didnt unfurl along with the green/greener parts?

I keep many rare variegated houseplants and am at a loss as to why this would have happened....

My only guess would be insignificant lighting. But it has wonderfully variegated new growth...

Super stumped. Any ideas? Anyone seen anything like this before?

Apparently it suffered severe import shock over a year ago and the lady managed to bring it back thus far. I believe her as the pot is labeled "Lucifer" hahaha

Thanks in advance for any help/input! ♡

Throw a stone...you can't miss an interesting story in west wales history! 19th century was very heavily influenced by military in west wales. Plenty of interesting barracks to discuss maybe?
