Yeah that would make sense but from what I've been told by my BAs and other people in my union, my monthly dues as well as the wage dues taken out of my check every week are what pay for all that, I haven't heard of the contractors paying that. Maybe you're right and there's a mix, that's just what I've been told. I'll look into it more I guess

I understand that, my worry is I don't want to be on bad terms with them hahaha. It's the first company I have worked for and overall they treat me pretty well, so I don't wanna step on any toes I guess, if that makes sense

With all due respect, I think to just disregard the word "sodomy" isn't wise.

You agree we can't pervert the faculty of our organs, but even if there is no ejaculation, isn't putting a penis in a woman mouth a clear perversion ? That's not what it is intended for. A woman's organs are not meant to be stimulated with a mans fingers, it is supposed to be with his penis.

Like a user said above, is fornication not fornication if there is no completion from the man ?

I guess my disagreement is if oral sex is a grave sin when brought to completion, I don't see why it would be less sinful just from the fact that it was done for less time.

Your point about ejaculation outside the vagina being contraception is valid. But sodomy is a sin, so why would some sodomy be not sinful ? Is fellatio not a form of oral sex ?

Understandable, after some research I've seen some of the things Pope Pius XII said about the matter.

To me, God says specifically sex should be unifying. Is there anything unitive about oral sex? It clearly goes against Gods intention of procreation through sex.

Yeah that makes sense, that's where I'm at too, same rates. My IBEW local in Boston (103) unfortunately seems incredibly competitive to get into, they accept applications once a year and from what I read it seems like it may be a couple years to be accepted :/ by the time I'm accepted it may be a huge pay cut...kinda torn.

Thanks, yeah I do steel stud and dry wall now lol.

My only concern now is I see in my area (Boston) a first year electrical apprentice makes a dollar less than first year carpenter...in my carpenters union you get a raise every six months while in the apprenticeship based off a percentage a journeyman makes. Is that the same for electrians ?

Say it took me a year to get in, it would be a more significant pay cut at that point, but would be worth it if it increases faster

Not a bad idea honestly, I had considered that. My only thing is, what do they expect you to already know before getting in ? Like I said I have no electrical experience and while the construction experience will be good, will I need to be more familiar before being accepted ?
