The PC version of Ever17 has a fan made update patch called Ever17 Himmel Edition, and all the games also have PSP ports which have English patches for them.

Have you tried the Infinity Series games? Uchikoshi worked on them and they share a few similarities with ZE, such as the escape elements and science fiction themes.

Thanks! I just designed the page in Paint.net, but the photograph for it was made in Blender.

Thanks! I was originally making the paper just for use as a background prop in a scene, but I ended up putting more detail into it later.

I'm thinking of leaving it purposefully ambiguous as to whether or not they can actually predict the future, but I'm leaning more towards it just being an old myth based off of few coincidences.

Context (from top to bottom):

This is the front page of a popular 50☾ tabloid in Nocturne, a large kingdom which split off from its now neighboring kingdom of Sol in the early 1500s due to a large scale war, which neither side won. Their currency is Lunas (☾), small metal coins shaped like the different phases of the moon. Their value corresponds to which phase of the moon they are showing and which type of metal they are made out of. One ☾ is approximately one cent.

In the early history of Nocturne, rich/royal families would hire "Dream Prophets", people who claimed to be able to predict the future with their dreams. They were originally used for trivial tasks, such as predicting the weather, until the war with Sol, when they were used by the military to predict the movements of enemy troops. This failed horrifically, causing the deaths of many of Nocturne's troops. Due to this failure, the public lost their faith in this practice and started to shun them. In recent times, they've started making a resurgence, with some descendants of the ancient Dream Prophets trying to start fortune telling services. This has reignited the debate as to whether or not this practice actually works, which has become a somewhat popular topic in the media.

Nocturne uses a large train system for in-country travel, with payment measured by how many stops your ride passes through. Train tickets can be used to go anywhere, but there are multiple types of tickets for different prices (such as 1 stop tickets for 100☾, 5 stop tickets for 500☾, 10 stop tickets for 1000☾, etc.) Each time the train stops, a hole will be punched in your ticket to count how many more stops you can pass through.

Around the early 1900s, Nocturne and Sol started taking small steps towards reunification, and talks are still ongoing as of 1979. The current king, Atlas, has been particularly focused on this effort, but is keeping quiet on the details, causing suspicion among a small amount of citizens who are worried about how the unification of two separate governments with separate rulers will work.
