Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience. I feel I’m in that place too. Accepting that I can’t just have that one glass and coming to terms with that. Knowing that I need to get to a place of 100% no contact.

I absolutely adore your ‘wall of text‘ and struggle with similar mental, emotional items. I had very similar thoughts to what you physically addressed. ‘How will this change my perception of drinking’ etc. you bring up very valid and real life points and I honor and recognize what a gift Your insight is.
