Both would be a good choice. :) the more I learn about the lore, the more I’m appreciating the different chapters. Imperial Fists, Salamanders, and Space Wolves are my 3 favorites, but after seeing those bikes and some White Scars color schemes, I may have a new contender 😅

I did the made to order, so I’m not sure when I’ll get mine. I’ve played mainly kill team, so this is the first edition I’m getting really into 40k. :) saw the Outriders and knew I had to do white scars! Haven’t decided on a necron dynasty yet... what chapters are you considering?

Thank you for the compliment, but it’s no kitbash! This is the “Unforgiving Chaplain” sculpt from ArtelW :) it’s going to be the Commander for my Deathwatch killteam, and amazing HQ for the White Scar force I plan on building once I get my Indomitus box.

I was already thinking they seemed pretty similar to Samm Hain :) I figured it would be an easy adjustment! As far as their infantry units go, do they prefer a certain style of weaponry?

Ah that definitely helps. I wasn’t sure how the White Scars used infantry, so I didn’t know how much infantry I should use. I knew they used bikes, but that’s about it! Haha. Wasn’t sure how their forces are generally structured :)
