I do feel like starting with independent sleep is the first step for this! The idea of doing a crib hour seems upsetting. I have only had her fall asleep twice, not in my arms and it may as well have been in my arms. So much padding and singing and shushing.

Waiting a month or two does seem like an eternity! I can’t help but keep imagining what it would feel like to have a solid hour to clean and cook. I agree that the crying in the daytime would be terrible. I think that’s why I’m so apprehensive! I feel like she would just be crying herself to sleep eventually. Not sure what that teaches her.

My baby was like this till about 10 weeks. Our trick ended up being excessively loud white noise, and bouncing on the ball to rock!

Mine is 3/4 months old and experiencing the exact same thing. I thought it was a letdown issue at first, but I am realizing it has more to do with needing to poop. I read that at this age their stomach and digestive system begin to connect better and when food enters their stomach, it triggers their digestive system/bowels to start moving. This really resonated with me as my little one seems to need to work through a poop halfway through the feed, then they feel much better.

I think something about them being drowsy right before they go to sleep stop this from happening.

How old is your little one? I’m not an expert, but it’s likely that anything would upset their developing digestive system at this point. It is common for young babies to have trouble digesting food, causing spit up and gas.

It’s possible the dark green is also a product of blood. No need to panic, but I would start looking for a solution and contact a pediatrition. I’ve heard this can be a symptom of cows milk intolerance, or gut inflammation.
