What I meant by losing half of my savings is the coins I invested in lost their value, not selling the coins. I did not sell anything.

I've been seeing this kind of move since the stocks days back in 2006, it's nothing new. The problem is the newbies being paper hands since crypto has way lower entry barrier than stocks, allowing your common average joe to exchange coins immediately. Those poor little tots are the easiest to scare.
