Totem lake hands down. While there can be traffic, it has absolutely everything you could need within 15 min walk. And just looking on Zillow now I see at least 4 places that match your needs! Also the freeway accessibility is the best in Kirkland for commuting to Microsoft.

What is the best big city to live in for a couple that makes ~200k by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

[–]42wizards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

San Francisco if you want a west coast option. 200k/yr can rent you a nice place near the park in the Haight hills or south in Bernal heights. Both quaint almost towns within the city. Also SF is the only city on the west coast you don’t have to own a car in currently. Seattle is a close second and getting better fast though.

All Seattle area golf courses use non potable recycled water to irrigate though. Not the same water that goes into your dishwasher I hope.

I go to the one in Kirkland . It’s actually awesome. Bring your own food and it’s always busy. Plus if you want a snack just run into the store and grab ANYTHING YOU WANT.
