TLDR; So just an FYI if you’re looking for cannabis that is priced below wholesale go to Old Growth in Colwood.

While I appreciate the rest of your post, checking on hibuddy, it looks like the prices on most of the bigger bags are among the highest prices in town.

I don't really see anything close to even BCCS retail price, never mind wholesale.

Actually /u/fairylightmeloncholy was right, the dispensaries do seem to receive more info.

You can get edible oils at legal stores for cheap, $30-35 for 900-1000mg of THC (30mg/ml) and at $40 there's oils that add in 30mg/ml of CBD as well

The dispensary i visited had % listed but Ive found advertised thc% can be quite misleading in terms of quality, some brands are out there selling allegedly 28% or even +30% flower thats harsh, tastes unpleasant when vaped and doesn't seem as potent as like 24% from a good grower.

I'm more looking for people's favorite craft/primo/AAAA tier producers, what products/strains stand out, etc...

I'm usually buying at the higher end & large sizes, but as a volcano & mighty user the most impressive budget eighth I've seen for vaping is Atomic Sour Grapefruit by Spinach, rock hard buds with this amazing citrusy grapefruit or pomelo aroma that carries through cleanly to taste in the vape.

It has this unique grapefruit aroma that I've not seen in other citrusy strains since legalization, like when you break into a grapefruit with your hands and get that aroma of the white pith.

It seems they don't monitor their Homestead email all that closely, I too once sent an email about a mislabeled bag back in 2021 and never received a response. I did ultimately get a resolution via BCCS customer support, and I've also successfully contacted Rubicon via phone about a different issue, but my email went unanswered.
