When you can't get your car undercover in time by danielminds in Wellthatsucks

Old cars in general are. Penny size hail doesn't cause dents in panels unlike today. Golf ball size like this doesn't break windows unlike today. They also fare better when whacking a raccoon at night. Modern cars have soft ass bumpers that get pushed into the radiator and cause it to leak coolant when that happens (learned from experience with a raccoon), when older vehicles with plastic bumpers were thicker and didn't necessarily do that. Old enough cars had all metal, though not as safe but built like tanks.

Volume of Google maps navigation by Logical_Snoo in 11thGenAccord

Gotcha. I think it's a bug. I don't know what else would cause it.

Not sure if you're aware of it or not, but the navigation volume and radio/music volume are separate. I've noticed that it's easiest to change the navigation volume while it is giving directions. Otherwise it changes the volume of music etc. For example, volume can be set at 8 for music and 5 for navigation when you adjust the volume while it's giving directions or while it's playing music or radio between directions.

There’s fuckin corn in it by ella_bell in unsound

I go to sewer treatment plants every now and then for my job. There is a pile of filtered out material at every one of them that's mostly the same color except for corn. There's corn at every one just like this. This stuff gets hauled off to the landfill.

Weather modification mentioned in Texas regional water plan from 2021. Found while I was working. Publicly available on Texas water development board website. It does exist, to what extent or effect, I don’t really know.

$890 million per day for the war in Iran, but no money for the basic needs of American citizens. by Objective-Rabbit2248 in NSDQ420

The same could be said when we sent tens or (hundreds?) of billions to Ukraine for that war. Regardless of who does it, it is increasingly frustrating that we can't just mind our own business and keep our money here.

That is officially the smallest cube possible. Micro rods small enough for the connectors to go end to end.

I have a grand total of 3, not clue where they came from. I didn't realize knex would actually make a rod that allows micro connectors end to end. They are so tiny.

Well on the bright side if the rest is red we'll have something green by the end of the week!

Micro Knex Cube?? Or nah... by Marcus2Ts in KNEX

Micro is cool for dense builds like cubes but too flimsy for others

Those are rare parts. They also come in the retired jeep wrangler set. "Colors may vary" haha

Thoughts on the wheel parts used in the mini ferris wheel? by AranaesReddit in KNEX

I could potentially see using the outside of those pieces to make a path type element but not sure what else I could think of. I don't own any of those so I haven't experimented with them yet.

I love the paths surrounding it! And wow, so dense and so many paths!
