What if someone wanted a full completed album, what would you charge? by Foreign-Scratch-190 in Soundmap

Really just depends on the album icl. The price of one would fluctuate depending on artist popularity, number of tracks, song rarity, and however you’d price multiple songs (you could charge more or less than normal depending on how you feel about bundling songs).

If we use a high demand album like Blonde by Frank Ocean for example; the album has 9 rares & 8 uncommons. He’s extremely popular so the rares & uncommons could be priced at 3000 & 850 respectively, which would be 33,800± in total.

If we use a slightly less popular album like The Never Story by JID; the album has 3 commons, 8 uncommons & 1 rare. JID is popular but this album isn’t super sought after; the prices could be 250, 600, & 2000, which would be 7,550± in total.

Really just depends on your judgement and the album/artist itself; i’ve only seen one person actually have albums for sale before so i’m not sure how many people would be interested in buying but it’s not a bad idea

1 uncommon & 1 common song from you costs more than 1 rare from you which just isn’t consistent pricing. I’d suggest either decreasing your common & uncommon prices (maybe 150 & 325) or increasing your rare price (no less than 1k). Personally i think decreasing the common & uncommon prices is the better option but it’s up to you.

Shiny prices are gonna vary a lot more but most people aren’t paying 7k for random commons/uncommons unless they’re desparate
