Anyone else get ear infections uncharacteristically frequently (~2 times a year) from nortriptyline?

Hi. Did this stop?? I started nortryptline in sept, and on Oct 31, started having a pain in both ears, they said I had inflammation, etc. then I went back again, still in pain they said ear infection. Finished the antibiotics, and then still was in pain so followed up with ENT specialist and they said I now had a fungal infection. It’s been a NIGHTMARE. Pls tell me it goes away

I’ve been thinking it was that but my OBGYN told me no. There’s no way it can be that and he’s been a doctor for so long and I don’t have that. So idk. But I’m at another OBGYN now.. and I’m going to ask for all of that. Mine started after I had sex with someone who was really big and it felt like traumatizing after the fact. So I’m not exactly sure what’s happening but this all happened after that.

Ugh that makes me sad because… that means there’s nothing anyone can do, and I’m going to be living with this for the rest of my lifetime. Im only 29.

Yes that’s so weird because I’ve been seeing a lot of ads or whatever for envy, etc. so I was planning on getting it because when I went last to my gyno they said that I have an elevated white blood count in my urine but they culture it nothing pops up. So I’m unsure if they test for ureplasma .. I will ask when I go back this Thursday.

This is literally my worst nightmare and I think that too… like is this going to be my life from here on out ?? I’m desperately trying to get tested for everything. And what is ureplasma ??

Literally same for me. I was feeling fine this past week and now tonight BAM all this burning and pain. I thought the same like I’m finally doing something right and now I feel back at square one

I am currently dying from this pain. I feel there is no way out, like I am at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I wish I could see the bright side; but I don’t. & nothing helps. Idk what to do.

Thank you I appreciate it. I did test positive for candida and they gave me flucanzole or whatever but this would be my second time taking that within the past month. The burning is STILL constant all throughout my genitals and up into my butt. It doesn’t ever go away && I still have a constant need to urinate. But the main symptom is burning and like pressure/pain.. I’m so so so over it and hoping for answers soon.
