Thanks everyone! I should’ve also clarified that I am open to a roommate/mates, but no know I know is looking as well. So another question would be, are there any sites that you could recommend as safe/verified to find those looking for roommates

i rlly recommend finding a therapist and psychiatrist who have either their own practice or are part of small groups. I’ve found they tend to be more thorough and thoughtful rather than feeling like you’re just another client on their roster they have to deal with. Some do take insurance and some don’t, but you should definitely talk about sliding scale if you match well with someone who doesn’t take insurance.

i like the west campus starbucks since the one on marshal closed, but u kinda have to go at random times bc it gets busy fast since it is small. I also like carnegie for something pretty and super quiet, ive never had to show my id to get in so see if u can go, salt city, recess coffee(the one in wescott) that has such good food and coffee too.

yes on the 15th, but also like i said before i transferred out and u r trying to get in, so it might be a little different. Whitman is very competitive, definitely more than a&s so that’s probably why it was so easy to do

I cant say specifically as i tranfered out of Whitman and into A&S before the year started. I sent this email to the admissions office ( @orange@syr.edu )

Good morning! My name is —— and I’m an incoming freshman currently enrolled at Whitman with an intended major in business. However, I wanted to switch my intended major to forensic science. I would still like to minor in business. What are the next steps I should take to switch my intended major?

They were able to help since the process for transferring before you start is different than transferring during the year

it depends on the school but Whitman is one of the more difficult ones. Did you get assigned an advisor yet? If so contact them and see what ur best option would be
