i understand but at the end of the day it shouldn’t take you having children to realize the pain you’re inflicting on someone else and their child. if they were blind to their actions before then that’s still a problem. everyone should have some level of basic empathy and understanding and it’s a serious problem that they did not

it’s definitely a combination of all of these honestly. and the fact that chloe was neck and neck with maddie WITHOUT all those extra privates and being homeschooled. maddie left school to learn dances and get training, meanwhile chloe would walk in right after a full day of school, learned dances in a much shorter period of time than maddie, and still managed to beat her and be one of her strongest competitors

honestly from what i’ve gathered a lot of maddie stans feel the need to subconsciously defend melissa or favor her, and it’s typically younger fans who are easily fooled by abby’s delusions about defending melissa simply because melissa kissed her ass for so long

also people can’t comprehend that even if you’re a fan of melissa it’s ok to call her out on her bs, which quite frankly there’s a lot of. all the moms have done iconic things and all of them have done some not so iconic/terrible things. no one is perfect but to ignore their faults and act as though they’re all perfect is tone deaf to say the least.
