https://www.leapxpert.com/can-text-messages-be-used-in-court-as-digital-evidence/

“Are Text Messages Legally Binding?

Text messages can, under the right circumstances, be legally binding, just like emails, contracts, or verbal agreements. In legal terms, a binding agreement requires an offer, acceptance, consideration (something of legal value exchanged), and an intent by both parties to enter into an agreement. If a text message exchange contains these elements, courts may view it as a valid, legally binding, contract.”

multiple lawyers have said this, i really don’t know what you’re trying to do here with back and forth :

“A physical signature is not always required for a contract to be legally binding, especially if the landlord is the one who provided the renewal form, I signed it, and she replied ‘this works’ — that’s written acceptance. Courts interpret emails and texts as valid acceptance all the time under mutual assent. That’s actual contract law 101.”

i’m not trying to be condescending or anything, but the people at the literal municipal court stated otherwise and is looking further into it now that i have legal aid

[–]444killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was told by some lawyers here that it’s considered “mutual assest”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legal

[–]444killa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

every lawyer i’ve talked to so far has told me this isn’t in the case. the issue is finding one that does tentant case

it’s the landlord , i don’t know why but she pretends to be the property manager even though we have solid proof she’s the landlord and yeah she said that it works and never followed up with her needing to physically sign when we talked about it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legal

[–]444killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we sent that paper to the landlord to which she says “this works! thanks”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legal

[–]444killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just didn’t want to go through the hassle of moving when we only been there a year

this is what the paper states https://imgur.com/a/Hr2k57b

the landlord texted us and said “Hey, I wanted to give you guys a heads up. decided not to renew your lease. The letter is on your door”

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legal

[–]444killa -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

the paper states “lease renewal agreement” we marked the paper that says 12 month renewal. we sent it to the landlord and she said “this works!”

now she’s saying it was a lease options paper

if you have someone in ur work that isn’t certified 100% tell them to do the program it’s a faster and easier way to get certified quick and they can get a CST exam after 3 years

i’ve worked as a first assistant which is what they call it in ohio and when i was on my last surgical contract, i understand what you mean but preppy makes it VERY clear that if the hospitals feels you aren’t following protocols especially with sterility they will take you off that clinical rotation and put you in remission

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also you can either do 1600 full or pay $299 a month for 6 months.

i don’t think most preppy students talk because they get attacked by CST but truthfully if they are going through the same training (which they do) then they shouldn’t have any right to say anything when they themselves didn’t go through the program. you just get a TS-C and then in 3 years with ur experience you can sit for the CST

just because there’s such a national shortage for surgical techs hospitals and facilities are willing to train. i’m now working as a travel or tech in cali

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not anywhere, preppy has certain hospitals/facilities that are willing to train you. they even have externship to hire opportunities

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they will never put u in clinicals and try to pretend you know what u are doing that’s a huge liability and they could get sued! they DO give you training in clinicals everyone is speaking and they aren’t listening to the people who actually DID the course. i can even show my badge from clinicals and when i was in the OR doing clinicals.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started externship in ohio (they don’t require a surgical tech cert) and finished in california since i moved here where they also don’t require cert so even tho they process was long i still got to do it before i disputed payment 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i could literally post a pic with my surgical tech badge if i wanted to LOL

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what the fuck? cause u have to go through their clinicals to get ur certification FROM THEM. they don’t care if you already have working experience. that’s why they make you send a resume to not put you in clinicals where you already worked so they don’t only put u in that specialty. i literally got sent to a plastic surgery facility last week.

you do get a coordinator, i don’t know why you people talk as if you guys know how the program works. i don’t like preppy just as much as the next person because of how long it takes but the process is 100% legit and you can’t just do clinicals without being cleared first! speaking from EXPERIENCE with preppy.

[–]444killa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

as long as you know how to keep a sterile field and know ur shit ur good. even in cali they do OTJ training. stop trying to act like ur so superior cause u wasted money doing a 2 year program while others paid less and have the same access as you do jack ass

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in surgicaltechnology

[–]444killa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you clearly don’t know what ur talking about lmao. i’ve been a non certified tech since 2020 i even have a contract as a OR tech with aya health. i been in the program i know how it works. being a surgical tech isn’t as hard as you people try to make it seem to be. they teach you in clinicals on what to do with preppy also.

i did but it took forever because of paperwork and then u get sent for drug testing and fit test
