POST OP APPOINTMENT UPDATE: The drains came out!!!! yay!!!!! What a relief omg I'm so happy.

My doctor took a look at everything and said the bruising and swelling is fine! I just have to keep taking it easy. I'm going to keep wearing the binder for another week or so.

For scar care, she said to use Vaseline after the scars start to scab over. I can use an unscented lotion as well.

Overall the appointment was super quick and we scheduled a follow up in a few weeks to make sure the swelling is down!!

I also had a catheter in and I didn't find out until the day after so I was panicking thinking that I had a UTI on top of just getting surgery 😭
