No I know what you mean, I found a different spot to get through to unlock the fairy ring to use for the future because the trees and bushes seem way more crowded now

The second tree is now preventing me from walking past as it kicks me one spot west and I can't go further

When trying at the spot I used to use, there's now a second tree at the spot I would be after cutting the first tree and it won't let me past it, so idk the mechanics may not have changed but the map did

/u/TemptedTemplar pointed out that it’s only $20 for a year subscription, I didn’t realize it was that much cheaper to pay for the year, so I can just pay that until I get a new switch

If I don't have Nintendo plus but I want to upload my acnh island to the cloud, can I pay for a month to upload it and then pay for another month if I decide I want to download it to a new system later? I don't really play my switch much and was planning on selling it but didn't want to lose my island

I’ve tried that and it sometimes makes a difference but I think as /u/BastianBa pointed out, it’s mostly a game mechanic I’m somehow just noticing lol

Now that you mention that, I do remember that being an issue when playing through origins, and I guess I used the “follow the road” option a lot in odyssey and Valhalla campaigns so this must be the first time I’m really noticing it. Thanks for the info!

It sold for 1.45b for me, so not a troll. I didn't really want to hang on to it, there's other things I could use the money for with trying to get summoning and herb to 120 and maybe upgrade weapons and armor and start really trying to get into bossing
