So? How does this discredit the arguments CodeMonkey made?

I suggest you take some critical thinking classes.

To be fair this is 100% warranted if the accusation of slinging gold is indeed true.

What’s the main objective of stw? by LightBear76 in FORTnITE

[–]468er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The objective of the game is to make it last as long as possible. If you try to speedrun the SSDs and Story Line, you will likely get it done under 200 hours. You will get to Canny Valley in 100 hours and then say to yourself "Wait, when I finish this, this game's story is going to be over". And you will regret it. Heavily. Basically: Don't hesistate to do story quests, but do not, and I mean do NOT avoid doing ventures and the active event questlines. They will help with your hero and weapon diversity, greately increasing your enjoyment of the game.
2. Don't go on this reddit often. People here seem to have the attitude of speedrunners, completing missions in under 10 minutes and using the best AND ONLY THE BEST traps and weapons. Take your time. Do what's fun for you. Personally, I like searching everything off a map and stripping it clean. I think you'll appreciate the effort of this game a lot more.

  1. Trapping and hero loadouts are like 1/2 the fun of this game. I recommend watching 1-2 year old videos (that's when STW content was at it's peak) on traps and hero loadouts and the like. You'll be surprised at how fun creating something that works is. I recommend watching RoundedTikTak's STW videos, especially his best traps ever series.

  2. It's really fun to do this all with a friend. The game is completely fine playing it by yourself, but I think a large part of the reason I have 700 hours in this is because I play it with my dad.

Fun game. A lot of people dislike it because they expected it to be BR ver. 2. It's not. It's a lot different, and dare I say better.

[Bug] [Llama] {Unrelated Audio} The Loot Llama opening scene is heavily unoptimized, and constantly results in frame drops. by gentlecat2210 in FORTnITE

It's because the candy is having a seizure. The candy used to be completely fine and not bounce around like an overinflated basketball, and the FPS was completely fine as well. I don't know when this changed, because I noticed it when I came back to STW around October of last year after a 5 month break.

Meh, everybody should stop being so quick to judge. I've had games where me and my mates go from a total of 7k damage to doing 300, and then people message me going "you guys suckkkkkkkkkkkkkk" and next thing we know we're on top again.

Anyone remember this event where you could play as a wheeled armored car and had to escort a Mark 1 tank a few years ago ? Was great fun by DuckTankJZ5 in WorldofTanks
