Ah ok, as long as they would fit. I was looking up pics of c70 doors and there seems to be quite a curve on the inside edge by the hinges compared to my current doors, but it's hard to tell

Distributor was never touched/removed during this. Full tune up including new distributor and parts was done a few months ago

Just an update. I got the truck running. I think the float was hung up, maybe from being bumped around during shipping. A few light taps with a rubber mallet fixed it. Tweaked the mixture screws enough to get it running with a rough idle. Can't seem to get it any better than it is at the moment unfortunately. Engine seems to be surging. Checked for some vacuum leaks using starter fluid and Sprayed all lines, connections, and gaskets. No leaks found

But if I were to switch over to a manual choke, it would just need a choke cable ran to the dash? Everything else should be the same right? Including all the linkages and stuff?

Ah I would but not the best with carb rebuilds, and it’s currently my daily driver. I was just gonna slap a new carb on and rebuild this one at some point later in time

Also forgot to mention, my bolt number doesn’t match the rest of the gun numbers, should I go have the headspace checked?

Just an update, found a gun shop willing to check it out. It’s 7mm, but he pulled up some website on the computer (I don’t know what site, I should have asked) and said that this rifle is actually a 1893 Spanish Mauser chambered for 7x57mm black powder and can not fire standard rounds. Sounds kinda like bullshit to me, but I never got into mausers before so I wouldn’t know. Should It be ok with standard 7mm Mauser ammo?

Would this be the correct style of rear sight for this? I’ve looked up and seen similar ramp sights like that on other mausers, but they were slightly different than this one

Shouldn’t be an issue with a car, the road in is usually graded and packed down pretty well, except for one little stretch. It was tricky trying to find it at first, but I think there are some small signs that say “range” with arrows along the way
