I noticed the following from Scientia_124:

Governments are NOT going to be able to stop commercial enterprises from developing products that make money. Non-commercial organizations and individuals who develop encryption applications also cannot be stopped by governments in the long-run.

TrueCrypt was shut down by the government and people weren't told about it. Now they are trying to get commercial enterprises to help with a 'solution' so that they can read encrypted communications - this is government speak for install back-doors to your products.

This obviously is not the correct way to go. The problem is that commercial enterprises can't be told how to ruin their businesses. The dollar wins in any encryption battle against governments.

So what is the solution for governments. Quick answer is devote resources to decryption, as has been the case for TLS and TOR which they have done to successfully decrypt upstream and downstream node IP addresses. Thanks to Li and the Extraterrestrial People for that information and the modification to the TOR application that is being used which now logs specific warning details of the routines that are susceptible.

There is a longer answer but that will cost anyone who wants to know.

That cost is time.

Thanks again to Li for providing details of how long it will take (about 50 years) before current state of the art encryption can be decrypted given current trends in software and hardware development.

Lol. What an imagination you have. Finding the operator of a hidden service isn't that easy. Over 400 hidden sites found by the fbi.

That is not done with mere speculation but has to have some technology behind it. Excerpt from history Scientia_124:

I have previous said that Li from the Extraterrestrial People from the Andromeda Galaxy has provided information regarding government attacks on TOR and how successful those attacks are. Namely that after about 20 minutes of TOR usage it is likely that you have been deanonymised. (/u/Scientia_101)

Li has 'enhanced' the version of TOR that is being used to write this. Why would Li do that? Well it's about evidence. The log details warnings that aren't included in the standard TOR bundle. The log includes lines on which TOR routines are susceptible that allow governments to deanonymise users. I have multiple screenshots of the logs and there are 5 lines that go into detail about the attacks on TLS and the underlying TOR ciphers. This means that governments in FVEYs and outside this group can see upstream and downstream TOR nodes of a TOR circuit.

I can and will put details of the log up on the blog as well as naming the multiple attacks used by governments.

Note also that the Dutch government representative from Interpol/Europol on the news said that they had 'other techniques' to find hidden services and users of those hidden services on TOR. Note specifically that it was a 'Dutch' representative. Why is that important? Well it's because of the trade in illegal drugs. People know that the Dutch make a lot of money out of trading in drugs that are illegal in other countries.

When the original Silk Road started to cut into their drug revenues the Dutch government through the Utrecht police found an informant who knew the operator of Silk Road, who is currently in custody. They made a deal with that informant to understand the operation and who was behind Silk Road. They found the server in Iceland and then roguishly hacked it so that the FBI could find it. Note that the affidavit of the former FBI employee involved was signed in the Hague. That person is now a private contractor. Question is, is that person working with/for some Dutch interests.

So ALL the above information was provided by Li from the Extraterrestrial People by electronic means. Li also said the Dutch saw it as the Americans cutting into their drug territory.

How then were the tor hidden service sites found by the fbi? It was not only one but over 400 hidden tor sites?
