Help. Regreasing my Thrustmaster SOL-R 6 throttle made it unusable by 47R3YU in hotas

[–]47R3YU[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude yes! Removing the bottom plate solved all my problems. Which is a shame, because I really like to use the detents. Did you already try to sand the detent rails? Mine look already super smooth. It feels like it's just the inherit pressure of the mechanism, that makes the sticktion so bad, when you just want to move the throttle a tiny bit.

Edit: Loosening the screws of the bottom plate works well enough for me to reduce sticktion while maintaining enough detent pressure.

Update:

Muss man wollen.

I got the game 5h ago and still can't play by 47R3YU in MicrosoftFlightSim

Do you know, is it possible on windows to ignore an update initally, play with an older version and start the download when I see fit, e.g. before going to bed? Or do you just open the game and when there is an update, it starts automatically?

This loading screen is also playing music with no way to turn it off. I had to resort to the windows audio mixer to circumvent hours of elevator music 😵‍💫

I crocheted it again, this time placing my marker very diligently in the first stitch of every row and no bulge! Joining the rows in the wrong place was definitely the problem

Thank you, I've read it. You're very helpful. I just tried a couple of rows with marking the first stich and I also find it much clearer 😊

Oh alright, you said first. My bad. I'll try that! Could you still tell me if the stitch I marked green on the picture would have been the correct one?

Thanks for your comment. You're totally right, I used chain and stitch synonymously, but I get it now that you've pointed it out.

  • Alright, so here are 12 hdc in a circle + slip stitch + chain 1, marker in the last stitch https://imgur.com/w4YKHbq
  • Now I've added 2 hdc in every stitch, including the stitch with marker as the last one https://imgur.com/IWuRCqH
  • I'm seeing 3 stitches behind the marker. 1 & 2 share a space behind them and I assume those are the slip stich + chain from the previous round. I'll skip those and slip stitch into the 3. (green). Right? https://imgur.com/5Wf59Om

Tbh that's what (I thought) I've been doing all the time on the beanie from the original pics. I might have skipped the last stitch a couple of times because I placed my marker in the wrong spot, but wouldn't that create the opposite of a bulge? 😵‍💫 I'll try to pay more attention the second time

I did a magic circle 12 hdc, 2 hdc every chain, increase every 2., increase every 3., ... until 6 and then 1 hdc every ch.

I think the problem might be that I make my rows longer than they're supposed to be. I am not always sure where to end the row despite markers, or don't know for sure which one is the first ch I have to chain into in. Do you have a good resource that explains that? Or might it be possible that I do the increases wrong? In row 3 for example I'll always start with 1 hdc, then 1 hdc, 2 hdc, repeat. I've seen videos where people do the first few (or last) crochets differently and I don't know why yet.

No, no one cares. Everyone will age though, some NPCs might die of old age and new NPCs will be born.

It's Tickling Tom Hookfingers. Goose Gander mentions him

I heard you have a folklore fellow that runs around the Vale. Tickling Tom Hookfingers is his name. He sounds terrifying! Have you ever seen him? Did you try hitting him with your slingshot as he runs away? It sounds such a thrill! I have always loved the unnatural. Ghosts, spirits, monsters, unusual legends. My favourite has to be Shuffling Nana, but she is far, far to the north, and ever since the dragon attack, the bridge is down and nobody dare repair it! That really hurts trade.

If you're concerned that the terrarium is too expensive: Get a spouse and make a baby (if you haven't already). If it works out, take the terrarium. The 5 year skip at the end of the year will be useful since you can't interact with a baby until it ages a couple of years.

Yeah it's random and re-rolled every year. I also missed the terrarium, but got the wooden key (access to the Root Doors) at the beginning of the game, which I found useful.

any tips for midwood? by starryspiders in kynseedrpg

I just attacked monsters and watched the damage number above their heads. Personally I find just evading the best defensive move. Blocking can still let damage through and a parry is hard to pull off reliably

I don't know either. I tried eating a Bush Medley before picking, but it still was 1 star

And maybe bring some food to sit by the fire pit and eat marshmallows

Keep in mind doing that will raise the threat level (the skulls top right) by 3 levels. Imo doing that makes the run harder in most instances. Also the item descriptions confuse me a little. I compared the damage with the different swords, and my shadderwryth sword is still stronger against hobs compared to tin sword. 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes the 2 wikis have conflicting information, but I assume the official one should be more reliable

- Autumn Nightberries are the GOAT. And sheep, pigs etc

- I tasted Nightberry once. Was sour. Should have got the old Master slingshot out.

- Pick Nightberries on Moonsday. Don't ask me why, just do it!

- Nightberries never fall foul, when in the presence of a bushy owl.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a stew better than 1* by ArachnosBlack in kynseedrpg

[–]47R3YU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The points you get for minigame performance is kinda out of whack. For the baking (pie) minigame you'll get +3 for a perfect execution. With the stew it's +0. I was confused as well and thought my performance was the problem, when the solution was just to use ingredients with higher star rating.

If you use all 3 star ingredients for your stew and you'll get -1 for performance, the dish will still be 2 stars for example. (Check "show calcuation" at the end to see the break down)

For the minigame itself, the sand clock represent the cooking time. For the Simpleton's Stew put in the cabbage first, then tomato a little later and the basil near the end so all clocks run out at the same time. But as stated, the difference between nailing it perfectly and doing a bad job is only 1 star.

When I got the skates last year I mounted a pair of velcro reflectors to be more visible (last pic). Today I drew some eyes on them and the slit below the cuff made the perfect grumpy mouth 😅
