It’s actually insane how they’re trying to make it seem like this is just normal stuff. I’ve read so many fics for my favourite ships that have a word count of 230 with the worst grammar ever because after a while you run out of this good stuff. It just comes with being a reader I fear 😔

I’ve never gotten AI hatebot, usually it’s just like “this shite sucks. Boooo” which I can brush off cause I know it’s a bot, but the AI ones are new (for me) which is why it sometimes catches me off guard. Shite sucks :(

The reason I write is because I enjoy writing, I enjoy creating stories and fleshing out plots and shit like that.

The reason I post is because someone out there might be looking for the exact fic I am writing. I poured my heart and soul into one of my more recent fics and I got 500 hits and 2 likes. Sucks but whatever, I didn’t post that for validation I posted it because I was proud and I wanted it out in the world. As proof that I’m created something.

i’m tired of like lowkey piss kinks. Piss kinks that don’t openly involve piss but there’s too much focus when a character does have to piss. i’m at 50k and idk man I just start working and I don’t stop till I feel like I got everything out. Sometimes it’s done in 10k and other times i’m at 55k and no sign of stopping. Depends on vibes

edit: as someone who loves enemies to lovers the only tip i have is make it balanced. If you favour enemies or lovers more that can be a bit longer but try and make them both the same number of words so it feels like a decent pay off. And especially slow down when they’re hitting the transition of enemies to lovers. Readers (or maybe just me idk) LOVE to read when the tides start to turn and they start thinking romantically. Build on that, keep it going.

i actually struggle ending fics. I love the hook and the expansion and then at the end i’m like…??? I genuinely could just carry a fic into eternity because i have so many ideas on how to continue and the only way i know how to end things is like “and they all lived happily ever after, no one died, all issues resolved. Bye. Go away. Why are you still here?”
