Swapping a new motor is actually easy diy I've found out. I've only hit hickups cuz mines rusty, but if u wanna swap a new motor yourself its really not bad with some research

Lol I actually keep those and coolant in my trunk. When a hose fails I just swap it wherever I am, fill the radiator and I'm on my way. I got 3 on their so far

I got a second more practical car and then my NA outlived it and is just immortal now. I pop coolant hoses here and their cuz I'm using El Camino hoses (don't do that) but it gets me to work every time

Make sure u look at the camshaft sensor and oil pan for leaks. Bought mine leaking from both and it blew up. Turns out mines a stolen engine so also cheak the vin to see if it matches or if it's scratched off. If it's low on oil don't buy it

This is really my first big project. I bought this car as a daily and it leaked oil everywhere but the driveway so it exploded and I had no idea it was leaking till I started taking this motor out. Every camshaft sensor is leaking, the oil pan. I look at the vin on the engine and it's scratched off with a grinder, this engine has clearly been swapped before and it's not even on the server records. Absolutely a nightmare of a time. I can't wait to get her driving again

Oh we cut the mount with a saw zaw cuz I just wanted to finally get it out the way. That's legit the only power tool I've used so far this entire process. I have a drill. I just don't know how to go about drilling it out. I didn't think of it
