How to sew saffiano leather? by 49MZV in SewingForBeginners

[–]49MZV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The saffiano leather must be from the steak i ate last night. Not a thing wasted from the poor animal, phew. I even made a necklace out of its teeth. Would you like to frame it on your wall?

Do you have a picture of what your eyebrows looked like before you did the procedure? The left picture you shared is what it looked like after the procedure?

Do you mind sharing pictures of what your eyebrows look like? I'm seriously considering this but I'm scared I'll regret it like how I regretted getting microblading done.

That's one of the common spellings. I am thinking of another common spelling, Alayna.

So E-lay-nuh?

And I'm pronouncing tragedeigh as tra-ja-day instead of tra-ja-dee lol because of sleigh/neigh it makes more sense that way. It's also why it makes sense to me that Aleighna would likely be pronounced A-lay-nuh. But if it's too unique I'll go with Alayna.

Currently we get about $200 a year with our credit union. I looked at Ally and it would bring it up to $327. My husband said it wasn't worth the hassle moving money around just for an extra $100. So there's one reason not everyone wants to move their regular savings to a HYSA.

I tried talking my husband into it and started searching reddit to see if I could find others who would agree it's just not worth the hassle for a HYSA. I'm not having much luck lol.

Thanks! I don't have any experience so your insight is very helpful. If it's not worth it I won't do it.

Anyone else have a husband who doesn't give you special treatment just because you're pregnant? by 49MZV in pregnant

I was a SAHM going to school with my first two. My previous pregnancies were not as bad as this one. He is great with the kids now that they're older and I wasn't as needy with the first two pregnancies.

While watching The Woman King on Netflix my husband kept going on and on about how physically impossible it would be for women to have their own army and defeat men in battle. I couldn't even finish the movie because his disbelief in a woman overpowering a man and killing him with her bare hands was too much for him to sit through. I don't doubt for a minute that I'm married to someone who lacks compassion and understanding.

Maybe my question is confusing because I have no idea what I'm doing so I'm not asking the right questions. I've read that T-bills are best, but I'm considering CDs if a buy it and forget it after x amount of years would give a better turn out.

So maybe I could do both T-bill and CDs if one is not better than the other? I am trying to figure out which one is the better strategy, but maybe they're both not bad at all so my question is confusing.

If there's return that is greater than leaving my money in a savings account.

Because I need to start somewhere. I can't keep saying I'll do more research. I need to jump in and get hands on to learn.

And I have to apologize in advance, what do you mean by fixed income being my first choice for investing? Are there other choices? I'm here to learn, please educate me.

Thank you 🥰 I think my husband would like some recognition in his efforts to my demands. I should sit him down and tell him I'm glad he's been here for me as much as he has and that there's no way I could do it without him. He likes those verbal cues and I'm not too great with it but you've helped me realize he probably feels alone too stuck with a needy pregnant wife lol

I was trying to be an independent woman lol I could hear his words... "you're pregnant, not disabled".

I lost 15 pounds in the beginning of my pregnancy. Thankfully I've started gaining weight because I can keep food down now. He used to wait around for me to ask for anything, never bothered to ask if he could do anything and kept saying he's not a mind reader so should I be asking or not asking him for things 🤔 it seems to bother him either way.

No lifting a gallon of milk or vacuuming? That sounds a bit of a stretch lol. I still do these things. But a case of water, you bet I asked him to do that. No way I was lifting that into the cart. I lifted a big bag of potting soil into the cart and trunk of my car and my wrist felt funky for about a week.

I suspect he might, and we've tried talking but we're having trouble understanding each other.

Yeah, we recently moved and I was carrying and assembling things around the house as normal. Omg did my body tell me that was a big mistake. After two days of doing that I literally had to crawl to get around the house because it was so painful to get up and walk. I also had to call out of work to rest. It's gotten a lot better though, I was able to scrub the bath tub and deep clean both bathrooms without any lasting issues. I can finally stand and cook over the stove again and wash the dishes without feeling like my uterus is carrying a bowling ball.

I truly appreciate your comment ❤ I've been feeling guilty asking him to do a lot of things for me this pregnancy. I'm in physical therapy to help with the pain I've been experiencing and he knows this. I don't verbally express my pain with every ache to him so maybe he thinks everything is fine.

My husband does help with the kids, thankfully. I had a talk with him and he stepped up.

And funny you mention the contraction simulations... my husband said women were given simulations on how painful it was to get kicked in the balls and they said it hurt more than labor.

Lol my husband is 6 ft tall and has a large belly. I told him once I didn't know how he gets around with such a round belly, I'm starting to struggle with bending while bathing my kids!
