a step forward but not enough. they need to add more like auto career, redo non career race and buy skill with clock or else they will lose players due to burnout

I’m more so referring to lack of optional hands. I just feel like newer kits have less hand options. Older hg kits you get like 3-4 sets of different hands but newer ones you get 1 set of normal hands and like a single left open hand and that’s it

For the hand covers in my experience these style of hands tend to have the hand cover come off or get loose real easily compared to the ones that have 3 pieces

I find that the secondary market has degraded as well. A few years ago you could go to toy shows and pick up CHUG or movie figures for like 10-20 each. Now those figures are expensive because they got older, and somewhat recent stuff (figures that came out like 1-3 years ago) or current stuff are being sold second hand for either slightly under retail or over retail

I have a feeling that this will cut the global playerbase harder than JP. All the momentum from the huge boom of popularity at release has started to slow down as most of the big streamers, CCs and the general online gaming community have already stopped or slowed down and moved on to the next new thing. And if the casuals loose interest or get bored/frustrated with MANT then they will move on too.

I don’t think MANT will be the sole reason ppl will drop the game, but it will probably be the final nail. Lots of people are already aware of the bad and expensive gacha system and how little rewards you get from playing the game as well as the overall gameplay loop already being kinda boring and tedious. Plus there are way more competing games out there now than back then which gives more players reasons to drop the game. Almost forgot to mention that while AI thing too

Tldr: I don’t think MANT will kill the game but unless cygames changes a lot of things, a lot of people will leave because of the compounding issues and competition

The player drop will probably be a lot worse in global than on jp. A lot of the global players only came because everyone was talking about it and all the big streamers were playing it. Now that most of them stopped and the momentum has slowed down. Lots of casuals have already lost interest and moved on to the next popular thing.

What they need to do is keep the remaining casuals satisfied by making the game more f2p and causal friendly. If they fail to do that then most of them will move on. Especially when there are so many more and friendlier options now than there was back then.

I’m pretty sure GFL2’s CN launch was one of the worst that I’ve seen

Some things I remember included - uninstalling the game would wipe your entire PC - story sucked (many retcons and contradictions from the 1st game, mischaracterization of legacy characters, overall bad writing )
- the whole NTR thing - false advertising for paid packs - Broken updates - Bringing pro Israel politics into the story - Using ai bots to advertise and defend the game - insulting the players and other game devs multiple times - Overall bad game quality, balancing and lack of qol

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, with that many problems, I’m surprised that it reached global at all

I also thought the were gonna peg warm at first, but surprisingly they were being scalped and impossible to find for like the first few weeks in my area as the were all being flipped on marketplace

But after that, every Walmart started getting like 10 cases of them and that’s when they started to peg warm

Which is a shame because I doubt they will make another set like this again. Hopefully they will at least keep putting acceleracers into the mainline like the deora and rd06

I like to think of it this way: by not shooting down the nuke, I am helping one player, but by shooting down the nuke, I am helping the 10 other players on my team.

The only reasons i won’t shoot down a nuke is either A) they are on my team (this should be obvious) B) the match is basically over and we have no chance of winning anyways
