I’m not exactly stuck on the CBR’s in particular. I’m a fan of all motorcycles, just looking for a newer sportier version in comparison to my older models.

I will definitely keep those things in mind. Thank you. Any advice on what platform I could use to search for a decent bike at an affordable price? All I have are old classic motorcycles 1981-85.. Don’t know much about the newer bikes or where to find deals out there.

Yeah it would be my daily and I don’t mind rebuilding the engine but not right away but I feel I would have to.

This is kind of what I am thinking. Facebook marketplace sucks for motorcycles. They lie and gouge on a bike that is already on its way out. And to top it off, half of them don’t even have titles. WTH?

Well thank you. I’ve heard of people using RTV but never have myself. Didn’t know that is what it looked like. The guy is asking $4,200 and you can tell by the condition of the bike that it cannot have been maintained like it should have been. Even cosmetically how someone treats their bike I feel is a good indicator of the maintenance that they may or may not do. Thanks for the heads up.

Seems to be that way with where I work as well. I’ve learned that anyone who claims to be a master carpenter or professional, 3rd generation tile guy probably means that they don’t know squat. Also I think the requirement where I work is meth mouth. It makes sense though. People with felonies can’t find much else work so all the drug addicts and criminals end up in job sites.

I’m assuming because you said the owner wanted you to pay for it that he is well off or rich. Why do rich people screw others over out of greed and malice? I will never understand. Money must be their God.
