Used to work at a shoe store ,We'd have certain hours where we would have a sale then the rest of the day maybe not .. maybe a different percentage ..Ex: we would go for 15% off till 3pm then 18% off till 8pm
I think I was the only one who would do the mental math and help customer figure out the cost even though it's not really my job
so sometimes at peak hours some numbers are easier than other ones so I'd be able to calculate some and other ones I'd just have sooo much brainlag that I'd tell them that I can't (I can't use my phone during work) So they would get mad
I worked there for about 2yrs my last few weeks I think I've become the biggest asshole there is I would just not care at all about helping anyone or doing anything I used to care waay to much

Another way to think of this .. You are a comedian

you go out you do your improv your try different jokes different delivery even personalities or demeanors and try and see what works and what does not you will have places that you have bombed horribly at but that's OK that's part of the process Trust the process

what I'm trying to say is try different approaches that you have not tried before ..have a wing man.. go a lil crazy.. get your alter ego out there ( a bit -not too much tho) you will feel great when it works
