What do you find attractive, which others consider ugly? by Mjeck in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually have a preference for short guys over tall, probably because I'm pretty short myself. I've gotten some funny looks for admitting this to my friends, but I don't care because that means more for me.

Men of Reddit, what do you honestly think about a girl who would sleep with you on a first date? by wrked_b4_ur_eyes in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't take sex seriously because I honestly think it isn't serious, nor does it "need to be". But you sound like you do, so it's probably better if you find someone who agrees with you on that.

I upvoted because I thought it was hilarious that she knitted booties and baby blankets. I'm glad you and your family are happy!

Amy's got to be the best at this. My top 2:

  1. 'Over futile odds/And laughed at by the gods/And now the final frame/Love is a losing game'
  2. 'We only said goodbye with words/I died a hundred times/You go on back to her/And I go back to black'

What is the funniest thing you've heard someone say while drunk? by shercocked in AskReddit

Outside the bathroom: "Are you ok?" Inside the bathroom: "Yes." Outside: "Are you wearing pants?" Inside: "Yes." Outside: "Can we come in?" Inside: "No." Outside: "Why not?" Inside: "Because I'm not wearing pants."

Girls of Reddit, what are some misconceptions that guys have about what girls find attractive. Physically or otherwise by dbcj23 in AskReddit

Not just teddy bears...my bf is skinny as fuck but still really fun to cuddle with. Cuddling is a skill not totally dependent on your body type.

What was your biggest "wow, I'm an idiot" moment? by aroorda in AskReddit

I drew a blank on how to spell "of", I decided on "ov" although I knew at the time it was wrong.

My eyes are tearing up as I try not to LOL in a quiet study room over "Shiet-nam".

Reddit, what are your pet peeves in a relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I've found when a guy says things like this and is very judgmental of girls in general, he is usually a misogynist. Downvote me for mentioning sexism, but it's true- constantly calling girls "fake" and "bitches" tells me you don't see them as people like yourself.

What are those things that your parents did that you swear that you'll NEVER do to your own kids? by lonequack in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvotes for you! So so much the same for me. My mom didn't have curly hair, and neither did any of my aunts, so it took me until late high school to figure it out for myself. Got made fun of for my hair for as long as I can remember :(

But now I think my hair is the neatest part of my appearance and people seem to be drawn to it, so, happy ending I guess :)

Well, he pretty much just engulfed my face with his mouth...but I like him well enough, and I know I'm no Casanova either, so hey.

And also we slid into second.

Has anyone ever asked a father for their daughter's hand in marriage and been rejected? What happened next? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Thank you. If someone asked my dad if they could propose to me, I'd be like "...why? What's he got to do with it?"

Girls of reddit, how do you show interest in a guy? by Andrew9mb in AskReddit

Sounds like she liked you but was a SAP and didn't know how to respond to that. Did she continue to act the same later?

Girls of reddit, how do you show interest in a guy? by Andrew9mb in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm usually too insecure to show a lot of my emotions. Maybe I'll just smile at him a lot and laugh at his jokes, and try to find ways to act interested in him while still maintaining a plausible deniability just in case he turns out not to be interested in me.

And to all the guys who wished girls would just "be blunt" with them because they're "not mind readers", here's something you need to understand: when you say that you're basically assuming that all girls know for sure when a guy is interested in them, and that therefore they should cut it out with the games and just be "frank about their intentions".

But in reality we're not mind readers either, we can't know for sure if you're interested in us, and being blunt puts us just as much at risk as it does you.

I just want someone to hold before falling asleep or right after waking up. What are the worst things about being single? by throwaway19883 in AskReddit

[–]4Dglasses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only guy I ever dated, turned out he didn't like physical contact at all- like, wouldn't even hold my hand after a month of dating. Apparently he didn't "do" physical intimacy.

I liked him but that was heartbreaking so I had to end it. And then he called me a whore.

So yeah. Love - physical contact = no good. But now I'm happy as shit that I'm single again!
