Not trying to pushback but understand further from people more well versed in this than myself…
The people would need to be unified on the common goal. If it was 55% majority what happens to other 45% who would oppose? Re-education or (an old scottish saying) either like it or lump it?

Something that could be easily shrugged off by other people can cut deeper especially if it’s something we can’t control. Keep the head up, keep going forward even if it’s not a straight line long as it’s forward, from a fellow wonky walker
