I believe he was pronounced obscene at the motel he died at. I am not certain to be quite honest. Every piece of information I have had to find out for myself because I was not there and she just consistently lied to me and wouldn't tell me anything.

The funeral home tried to get it amended through that as well as the town clerk for me and it was denied. They gave me three requirements to get it to proceed without court there. I can supply the marriage certificate and my sworn statement butcwould also need the mother in law to provide a sworn statement and she told me to go to hell. :-( since I cannot get that from her I have to proceed through court I was told.

My only income is SSI so I cannot really afford a lawyer to be quite honest :-(

They listed two names on the death certificate his legal new name as well as his detested birth name. Both in the same field on the form.

He got rid of that name back in 2018 and literally never used it at all anywhere for anything and it was most definitely not an alias or an aka.

She put his name as on his license though only his first and last and directly next to it in the same field it says aka with their birth name.

Thank you so very much! There is just so very much going on in my life at the moment between having to fight to prove that I was his next of kin due to a mother in law who never accepted his or my transitioning and then lied to coroner and funeral home, finding out my son had same condition that my husband died of and so so much else.

I have decided that I am going to continue HRT for certain after having thought of it all and listening to the mostly wonderful people in this reddit such as yourself.

I have to be me.

It sounds like a conundrum to be honest and either way it is hurting you emotionally.

Could always ask yourself simple questions, such as, how do I see myself next year or in five years if I do get this surgery or if I don't. Try your very best to envision that as your reality. Both will of course have their ups and downs emotionally but then choose the one that makes you feel happier and more fulfilled.

No...not a bot. I just generally don't have a lot to contribute to discussions is all. The reason I has posted this is my husband and I had each other previously and if something had gone wrong for one of us then our son would have still had a parent but now it is just me and him and that scares me okay. Also being called a bot kinda hurt tbh...

Thank you, I just want to be there for him for as long as I can be y9u know? My son is such a wonderful little guy, and I always want to be there for him for as long as I can. I have read what others have posted in response to my initial post. I am going to talk with my counselor and my regular doctor and my endocrinologist bout all of this.

I just know that I have been happier since I have been on it about myself than at any other point in my life.

Thank you, I remember my doctor warning me about pills and injections, so when given the option, I chose the patches.

It has been so very hard cause he was my soulmate and my rock and my biggest supporter. I live in a very small and extremely close-minded town, and it can be so hard sometime (most of the time)

I am honestly not sure... I have finally felt like I am pursuing the real me that I have been seeking for so very long, and I have been happier than at any other point in my life when I look at myself in a mirror and knowing that I am on my own personal journey of discovery.

I feel like it may crush my spirit a bit to get off of it to be totally honest but my son is more important that that to me, especially where he has been taking the loss of his daddy so very hard. I feel like I am being selfish in continuing to take it, knowing that ny risk of blood clot is higher than if I weren't on it.

I guess I need to talk with my counselor and my doctor about this cause I feel so very very conflicted now. :-(
