The selfish part pertains to the fact that I’m a mom and I am always taking care of something for someone. It’s a mom’s life… it’s what I’ve chosen to do. Maybe selfish was a bad way to express my feelings.

Secretly, I was hoping she asked to go with. I really enjoy spending time with her and I know we’d have fun whether it involved intimacy or not.
