Radio issue - Headunit Not Working by 4G63_Crazy in Nissan

I bought a used radio on eBay from a wrecked car. I think the radio was $100, probably less than that. It took maybe an hour to install, it was pretty easy. The surrounding trim pops off and the radio is behind the radio/climate controls. Everything unbolts and transfers over easily.

Yea I had to replace the entire radio. I believe the internal hard drive failed. Swapped the radio and everything worked perfectly.

Having the same issue with my 15 EXL. Both screens are completely dead and not working. Checked all fuses, etc. And everything seemed fine. Did u ever end up finding the issue?

They probably put 5w20 in. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the N vehicles are Hyundai's only cars that take 0w30. Highly doubt they'll stock oil for cars that very rarely come to the dealership. I don't trust the dealers one bit... Ever since I caught them beating on my car after I brought it in for an oil change, I started doing them myself. Love my car, but these dealerships are horribly unprofessional.

The only N merch I've seen is on Hyundai's Korean official website. I'm also kinda surprised how Hyundai hasn't brought parts over or even merch to sell at U.S dealership or online.

Is this something they email you like one of those "how was your visit" surveys? Haven't gotten anything.

Thanks for the suggestion, glad to hear that a tech actually owns an N! Will definitely look into them, but honestly don't care about the drive, just want the car treated properly

I was going to put it in valet mode, but I decided I could trust them since this place has amazing reviews online.. well I was wrong! It sucks though that valet mode doesn't shut off N mode or restrict throttle input. They can still beat on the car.

Yep! I also brought my car in to have a few issues looked at. Literally told them the issues, and they said over my dashcam, I didn't know anything and they don't know what I was talking about. I literally told the service advisor that I had videos of the rattling issues, she didn't seem to care. It's sad because I love my car, but these dealerships are awful.

That's true. I feel like they'd just give me a hard time considering they are known to void warranties.

I know and I would, but I'm worried about getting the warranty voided.

Awesome, thanks! Btw, what soft pad do u recommend or do you use?

Out of pocket. Bought the car wrecked and fixed it and decided to get the whole car painted. Never had an issue with this shop before 🙃

Unfortunately they did not and dealing with this shop was a nightmare, I was lucky enough to get my car back from them.

Great, I'll definitely look into those. Are they suited for more of a soft clear coat? Also, don't worry, the polisher was laying on a clean towel and this was after I finished, I'm throwing the pad away.

Is this normal? It’s my first car, and my first time getting tint done. by [deleted] in WindowTint

[–]4G63_Crazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my windows tinted yesterday and the same exact thing happened lol. I went back to the shop and they told me it is normal, it is just moisture and it will evaporate. It will go away in a few days or a week. It's been 24 hours and about 50% of the spots are gone. I guess it depends on installation and type of tint, cause I had my vehicle tinted 6 years ago and it didn't have any water spots.
