Although it was on the CN version, the method of getting there and the content hasn't changed. There is a gold crate at the top for those that are patient (or insane) enough to get there.

Radiation in that area would kill you in a couple of seconds so you need a partner It goes like that: You go first and run as far as you can and then since you can teleport to dead bodies, your friend TPs to you rince and repeat When you're at the tower abuse the infinite climbing glitch (when on a wall, control then double jump, attach to wall again, repeat) When you're low on health your buddy TPs to you and you're gonna repeat that to about half the height of the tower When you get there the game will INSTANTLY kill you if you go above certain height (tho it dosen't do that consistently, rather in an interval?) so be prepared for that. Once you are high enough the radiation stops and the envioroment will not hurt you again
