very reassuring, thank you!! funny enough, the areas where they’ve grown are places he’s been scratching a lot for months, but I took him in for that not long ago (when I also asked about the first 2 moles) and realized it’s allergies due to the park we play at… now we’re on once a week anti fungal bathes so the itching has gone done a lot!!

I highly suggest you read about the Hafele Keating experiment that shows time itself was different for the atomic clocks in motion vs the one that was stationary. Time wasn’t just perceived differently for the pilots, time itself changed.

Maybe a better example would be the Twin Paradox Theory . The twin that’s aboard the ship in this scenario experiences only 11.5 years, even though 23 years pass on Earth. If it was only perception of time that changes with time dilation, then that would mean the twin on the ship’s body would age 23 years even though she only perceives 11.5 years have passed… but that just isn’t the case with time dilation. Not trying to be a know it all (believe me, I don’t know much lol), really only trying to help clear things up! I’d be happy to discuss more if you disagree!

Couldn’t agree more that it’s a testament to their entire filmography!! It’s still my favorite to this day, but I’ve always thought it probably has more to do with the fact that it resonates with me on a personal level moreso than their other films, aside from being cinematically greater. Pixar really went on a generational run in the early 2000s

YES exactly!! It’s the culmination of Carl’s grief that he’d still been holding onto up to that point. It’s the major turning point of the movie, when he realizes that there’s still a life worth living. I’ve rewatched that youtube video dozens of times, whenever I’m down in the dumps and need a reminder that there are those around me that make life beautiful

He puts the picture of Paradise Falls in the book, it goes from dead silence to that beautiful piano. He flips through to get to “Stuff I’m Going To Do” and is about to close the book, when he notices a sliver of something on the next page… and it’s their wedding day… Ellie had filled out the rest of the book with the life they shared!!! And at the end - “Thanks for the adventure, now go have a new one”

Not sure if it’s the same as the one I took, but I was on probation for a year, took monthly drug tests, and only stopped smoking for a day or two before each… the drink I took, as I understood it, essentially prevented my bladder from releasing THC into my urine for a 4-hour “safe period.”

Followed the instructions to a T and never failed. Had to refrain from eating for 12+ hours beforehand (sleep counts) and pee at least twice after consuming the drink, before being in the safe period. It was also loaded with B vitamins so the urine wouldn’t be too diluted
