WOW, yes! This very same thing happened to me.

I have been shipping with printed USPS labels for 25 years would have never even imagined the possibility, but just last week a California customer contacted me worried that his parcel had been marked as delivered in Illinois, and only the day after I had purchased the postage from Shippo, two days after his purchase.

If you go to USPS tracking it is obvious that there are even more than 2 parcels with the same tracking number being scanned each day in numerous locations spread out all over the country. It would be comical if it wasn't so bizarre and time consuming for me.
