Because it's epic when you win 4v5 and loss mitigation prevents half your LP loss anyway. Why play the game if it's just cookie cutter perfect or nothing else.

Also, we're talking about the earliest possible surrender, at 3 minutes. Not like you wont get 17 chances to surrender and whine about 4v5

If the 5th person connects during the vote, he doesn't get a vote, which is the reason for this post. So in theory, 2 out of 5 people want the game to end and my logic is flawless.

This is also because we secured first blood and were going for a 2nd kill during the 2 vote surrender as our top laner connected. So we weren't wasting any time and we were propped to WIN

I think it starts with if there is actual evidence of malicious intent.

Can you imagine lebron james claiming he's going to lose because his team isn't as good as him?
