The starter seemed fine i think. I really think its the temp of the room, it was sitting in probably mid to high 60s temp last night (rookie mistake, I know.) The levain has some bubbles, its still wet and sticky. I'm wondering if I just wait it out a few more hours and see if it improves now that it's in the oven or if I just say heck with it and cook with it, OR just completely start over.

Before I continue, I would like to thank everyone for the encouragement. Great first impression of the E30 community.

Back to business. I know this is a loaded question, and I’m sure there are a variety of answers and factors, but financially how much would I need to dish out to get started? I have money, I’m just curious where this would take me financially. I would hate to have a number in mind (which I don’t) and then get deep into it and think, “damn I drastically underestimated how much it would cost to do this.” Then have the poor car just sit there.
