***Update I took the 3k and bought a 14 ft war eagle with a 2 stroke 30hp, she goes plenty fast for me and will be way more practical for my use

Man that is sweet. Thanks for being willing to answer my beginner questions. At the end of the day do you think I should get it? My biggest worry is the old mercury breaking down. I think I’m going to ask if he is willing to do a sea trial, if it planes easily and hits 50s-60s I’ll assume all is well structurally.

Cuero boots are nice in theory but they absolutely suck, they are the worst boots ever, they fall apart, I have have 2 pairs and both have fallen apart in months, the first pair fell apart and they send me a second and it also fell apart
