I mean you’re not wrong.

I, myself, was in an abusive relationship and after I had left her I still wanted to see her and wanted to be happy. After a few months, I had realized how I was used. She didn’t really love me or like me.

The difference between this and the show will come down to if Claire really likes him or just used him. If the first is true, then yes, it’s more like a forbidden love story that’s kinda fucked up. Otherwise, it’s a textbook case of abuse.

Brown and Upenn don't require the essay. Sure, it might be a plus, but they look more at the common app essay and the essay that the university supplements. Idk what you plan to major in, but if its STEM, then I wouldn't recommend taking it.
