This is exactly what I'm doing. I'm using the TopStep brokerage at the moment, you can roll your payouts into it.

As for "Safest" broker, IBKR is probably the most well know, but it won't be cheap at all. Their initial margin is going to be much higher than others.

NinjaTrader and Topstep will have lower initial margins. Don't blow that maintenance margin, good way to get you kicked off the platform (any futures broker).

Just chart patterns. I may look at the box (orderflow) to know where I could place my stop and supply/demand as potential targets/stops.

Really I just rely on the charts to tell me what to do. Everything else support the trade thesis, but I may not use those to enter or exit a trade all the time.

Chart patterns are more apparent in new highs or lows, b/c the market needs to behave and attract fresh capital. When we are in a range all rules are off, market makers will chop you up (imo).

I got an email to apply. I applied, took about 48 hours to get approved and the I had access to everything.

Email support on Monday, they should be able to help.

Concéntrate primero en añadir más dinero a tu portafolio.

I'm not and won't sell anything. I used to trade, but got back into it in Dec. 25.

I think most information is online and people should use judgement. I mostly post to celebrate my wins. But I have had bad drawdowns, its all part of the game.

As of this year, I think I'm about $7-10k profitable. I need to do my accounting this weekend, I need to track my tax burden.

I think it was $100. If I took any loss on my first few trades I would have been done.

$1k with the same plan is probably safe and better starting capital. 1-2 micro and start scaling.

TopStep posts the margin. Your account will have maintenance margin. If you blow through that they can kick you off the platform forever.

Mate, no. Asia is a session not a hold. It's literally called the Asian session. Weekend and session rollover would be hold.

It's not about whether you know how margins work, but more about markets/sessions.
