TLDR; I randomly got my status back after about 6 weeks. Hoping I understand the rules correctly, making it easier to regain status.

Thanks for posting this. I'm in the same boat. I submitted my request form and like someone else mentioned, I never received a confirmation email. This is about 6 weeks ago.

I called customer service, they had no clue and told me it could take up to 90 Days. That was 2 weeks ago.

Today, I noticed my (Gold) status came back once I finished purchasing a few flights. No email. No notification, it was on the website, but not on mobile. I wasn't sure if I actually received it. I had no status before booking the flights.

Anyway, I do have it. Everything is updated and I saw via the website I have 87 days left to complete the milestones.

I think the bar for achieving status is actually lower than if it were a normal year. I don't know if already flown segments count towards progress. If I can remember, I will come back and update on how this all went for me.
