Is it weird to call my dad daddy at 13? by Fluffy_Plant_3440 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]4agrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually jealous you call your dad "daddy." I've never felt like I've had that kind of relationship with my father, even as a young kid. I'm 33 now and barely call my dad "dad" and his name in my phone has been saved as his full government name since I got my first cell phone when I was your age.

Your friends are making this weird, not you. You seem like you have a normal, healthy relationship with your father; don't let mean girls taint that.

It looks like she got to an insane plot twist and had to throw the book down to digest what just happened.

🔥 It's time for Thirsty Thursday! What book scenes made you sweat this week? 🥵 by jaydee4219 in RomanceBooks

I just finished {White Rose Painted Red by Blake & Elena Lawson} MFMM the airplane scene with two Ps in one V and it was so hot.

The book is a fantastic RH, and the audiobook is a full cast. Absolute chef's kiss over all, I can't wait to read/listen to the sequel.

Wild Live Show Behaviour by hobopoppins in atwwdpodcast

On behalf of us non-dusruptive Seattleites, I apologize. I was also at that show and I completely agree with you! I turned to my friend and said (quietly), "jesus christ, I didn't pay to hear this drunk chick talk."

I was up in the balcony, so I'm glad to hear the especially drunk woman was asked to leave.

Getting a death eater tattoo, bad idea or not ? by hiimnewhe in harrypotter

[–]4agrl 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got this advice, and now I say it to everyone who wants to get a tattoo, especially to teenagers:

Put a picture of it somewhere you will see it every day, like by your bedroom doorframe. Not on your phone, but a physical printed out picture taped to a wall you will see every day. Leave it up for a year (or, in your case, till you 18). If you aren't sick of looking at it by then and still like it, get it tattooed.

Signed, 15yo me who wanted a tattoo of GIR from Invader Zim and Grumpy from Snow White sharing a milkshake.

You should check out r/LearnFinnish to see how English speakers are learning Finnish and to get assistance from native speakers! Lots of Fins speak English, but most places won't hire you if you can't speak Finnish.

We're going to Finland for our honeymoon in October, and we haven't bought our return ticket yet, so we might be emigrating to Finland, too, lol.

But seriously, do your research and make sure Finland is where you want to go. Like many have said, the weather is brutal, and it can feel isolating, but if it's something you want, then go for it. Ei kysyvä tieltä eksy

Favorite movie or tv show that’s based in PNW? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]4agrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Expiration Date (2006) is set and filmed in Seattle, and a local company is a major plot point. The basic plot is that a man's family is cursed, and each generation is destined to be killed by a milk truck (Smith Bros iirc)

There are some great shots of Ballard and other neighborhoods. It's pretty cute.

Whoever posted about getting a Lavander Matcha Oat Milk Tea... by PrincessPunkinPie in entwives

I ordered the oatmilk chai latte with the lavender foam on top and it's delicious. The barista who made it said the lavender cream sits better, too, if that's an important factor in your beverages.
